Astrophunk Overview
An AliExpress Dropshipping shop that runs solely off social media traffic. Uses the Oberlo app on the Shopify platform to import and ship items direct. A good shop is a strong cornerstone in any social media monetization plan.
Built out of a dream to create a high quality T-shirt line(obviously didn't pan out) using spectacular and imaginative artwork. You can view most of the inspiration on the Instagram account. Astrophunk is the classic example of a dead sideproject. I built it several years ago and it runs pretty much on its own. I've been unable to make a profit using paid ad spots, but it pulls positive on social media alone.

The Shop
Built on a Shopify platform using the Oberlo app to import items directly from AliExpress. This allows me to act as a middleman by upselling whichever of the millions of AliExpress items I'm interested in. There are extensive articles written on Reddit about how this can be done profitably.
Built using an Instagress automated bot($9.99 monthly), the account targets Instagramers using specific hashtags. The interaction rate is much lower than is ideal, but considering that it only takes about three minutes a day to run-it's a steal. Community has waned with time, I attribute this to poor consistency on my part. Instagram provides the bulk of my webtraffic to the shop.
Basic Twitter account built by follow/unfollowing potential customers that might be interested in the content. Quite poor in quality actually, but I'd love to sit down and try to build it into a real community. Currently provides about 50 page visits a day.
